Now the hostess comes up to me and asks how she can help me. I let her know that I am with my wife's party at 6 PM. She fired back at me saying that there is no reservation under that name and I had the first name right. I let her know my wife's maiden name and she says that is right. I let her know that we got married, hence why I said her present name. She was still hesitant and asked me for the confirmation email.
So I am digging through my wife's gmail on my phone and trying to pull up any sort of evidence. I found it and suddenly the girl starts acting super nice. She tells me that people come in all the time saying they have the reservation. She pointed to two other groups who were waiting and claiming they had the reservation for 6 PM. One girl said she was here for a bacherlorette party. What!? Do I look like stripper? I'm not here for no bacherlorette party.
It is a damn shame when people are trying to hijack your fried chicken. It was tasty, but have some principles and manners hijackers. That is messed up and offensive to strippers.
