$$$

You have to be kidding me about this deal. I love Michael Vick the player. He is hands down the most entertaining player to watch. I can attest I bought into the phenomenon, ask my two Vick Falcons jerseys. But, as I got older I became more a football fan. I saw that his great play potential did not make great teams. So, did he deserve that first 100 million plus contract. Hands down yes at that time and even looking at it now. He was the hope of Atlanta and the most exciting thing to come to the NFL in a long time. Yet he was never a top ten QB.

Now don't blame Vick for all that. Yes, he admitted to not taking the game seriously till he got out of prison. That is about the only knock you can really have against him. He never tried his best. But, how many of us would not sign a $100 million contract if your boss said just sign on the dotted line? I for sure won't say no.

What he did with his money is another story and we all know what that resulted in.

Yet, why would the Eagles give him $100 million for 6 years? He gave you one great year and he has admitted to not giving it his all in the past. Why would you let a hustler hustle you? You have the blue print. He is an average player.

Now did prison change him? Maybe. It also didn't allow him to work for two years. Not making those millions could make you real hungry, especially when the debt collectors are coming at you. What happens once he thinks he is full though?

Well, at least if this doesn't work out he can always go work for the Raiders.
